Pink Talking Fish is a Hybrid Tribute Fusion Act that takes the music from three of the world's most beloved bands and creates a special treat for fans of the music.

 Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish are all more than just bands... they are Phenomenons.  Their creations have artistically inspired people and their mind-blowing live performances have brought people together to form a sense of community around the love for their favorite bands.

 Although the music from each act is different, Pink Talking Fish has discovered that fusing the material together writes an amazing new story. The epic emotion of Pink Floyd... The funky, danceable layerings of Talking Heads... The multitude of styles, unique compositional structures and pure fun of Phish... to merge these three acts into one gives music lovers an experience like no other.

 Pink Talking Fish features Eric Gould on bass, Richard James/Stephen Learson on keyboards, Zack Burwick on drums and Cal Kehoe on guitar. Melvin is most revered for his powerful, high-spirited, Hammond B-3 organ, and keyboards in the JerryGarcia Band. Melvin spun his B-3 magic with the Jerry Garcia Band for 18 years and in doing so helped pioneer and define what has now become "Jam Band Music". From blues to funk to rock to jazz, Melvin Seals serves up a tasty mix with a little R&B and gospel thrown in to spice things up. 

Melvin and JGB bring an intuitive, expressive style, soul, spontaneity and remarkable chops to the table. About The Dip:

The Dip is a Seattle-based Rhythm and Blues band that is known for its poignant songwriting, detailed arrangements, and vintagesound. Featuring a three-piece horn section, the group’s music harkens back to earlier soul and funk influences while hinting at thejazz foundations that brought the band’s members together. 

With a distinct sonic character that has drawn in millions of listeners to date, The Dip released their latest, fourth full-length studioalbum 'Love Direction' in July 2024. About Umphrey's McGee:

Chicago’s eclectic rock band Umphrey’s McGee has been keeping fans on their toes for nearly 28 years now. Though oftenpigeonholed into “jam band” circles, Umphrey’s doesn’t fit that traditional mold, and their fans don’t either. Is it prog rock? Song-forward, Beatles-esque arrangements? Be careful, they might hit you with some metal riffs mid-set, too. Pushing 3,000 live gigs and300 million+ tracks streamed, you-had-to-be-there moments include the band’s performance at the first-ever Bonnaroo and sellingmore CDs (remember those?) than any other act on the bill.

A leader in the live music world, Umphrey’s McGee became the first group to launch its own single-artist streaming service withUMLive.net, which houses recordings of every show since 2005. The service has since grown and now lives on through Nugs.net, usedby the likes of Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, and more.

Beyond intimate backstage encounters and ski trips with their most diehard fans, Umphrey’s McGee instituted the groundbreaking“Headphones & Snowcones” program, granting fans access to professional headphones and a soundboard-quality mix to listenwirelessly at shows. At their UMBowl, they empowered the audience to vote on the setlist in real-time and choose favorite improvthemes via text message. About Dogs In A Pile:

Something organic has been blooming from Asbury Park, New Jersey, and is now making its way around the world. Dogs In A Pile, aband of five twenty somethings with old souls and limitless chops, is waking people up to the timeless and ineffable joys ofpsychedelic-tinged jazz-funk rock n’ roll.

This is one of the busiest touring bands of today, averaging 130 live shows per year since 2022. The road has become their creativeengine, generating a rapidly growing catalog of original tunes. Distroid, the band’s newest album, is a 10-song collection featuringlong-awaited studio versions of some of the Dogs’ most beloved repertoire.

Dogs In A Pile is guitarist Jimmy Law, guitarist Brian Murray,  keyboardist Jeremy Kaplan, bassist Sam Lucid, and drummer Joe Babick.In addition, the Dogs In A Pile community includes the Dog Pound, the group’s extended family of fans across the country.

Besides being a lyric from the Grateful Dead song, “He’s Gone,” the name “Dogs In A Pile” is an apt description of the five-pieceband’s stylistic breadth. The sonic image it conjures is a heap of storyteller Americana, bluegrass, jazz improvisation, eccentricinstrumental excursions, pop-rock sophistication, and deep-pocket grooves, ranging from funk to Latin to reggae and beyond.

Distroid features material that has already become staples of the band’s live show. These studio renditions have afforded the groupa chance to present the compositions just how they envision them. Distroid offers a cross-section of the Dogs In A Pile essence, tightand tuneful four-minute funk and jazz informed psych-rock songs, and then sprawling 15-minute compositions with intricate unisonlines, agile genre-jumping, and dazzling improvisation.

About The Amish Outlaws:

It is a little-known fact that most Amish practice a tradition similar to the Christian “Confirmation” and Jewish “Bar Mitzvah” called“Rumspringa” (literal translation: “running around”) in which Amish children at the age of 16 have an opportunity to live free of thestrict Amish code of conduct before deciding if they want to come back and be baptized into the Amish church.

Surprisingly, virtually all of the youths return.

But sometimes they don’t.

Four out of the original six members of The Amish Outlaws were born and raised in Lancaster, PA and had a strict Amish upbringing. No electricity from land lines, no alcohol, no musical instruments, but their spirits were too wild for the Amish lifestyle. Once theytrampled in the Devil’s Playground, there was no turning back. In the years since Rumspringa, the members of the Amish Outlawshave become very well acclimated to the pleasures and vices of the modern world…  music, most of all.

Thus, with a bold lust for life and a fire for music and performance that can only come from 16 years of repression, The Amish Outlawswere unleashed upon the world.
